Is Gratitude Overrated?

I like to blog. Typing out my random thoughts in attempt that someone might read them and find them interesting. Although I have trouble with the whole 'regularity 'in posting concept.

Sometimes I feel motivated and inspired and I just type. Other times, it seems like more effort than my low energy levels can deal with (I explained that a bit here

So things like participating in NaBloPoMo felt beyond what I can physically and mentally achieve... posting every single day?! NO way!

Well guess what kids? I'm DOING it! You can see the nifty badge that confirms the rumour that i'm doing NaBloPoMo to the right --->

So what on earth will I post about...every.single.day?

My sister posted this on facebook several days ago:

November is the month to give thanks. So everyday I'm going to acknowledge something I'm thankful for.
Today I'm thankful for microwaves! They are just the shizzzzz : - )
What are you thankful for today?

Well it got me thinking... I think I could be a little more grateful for the good things I have everyday. I've been told many times, when you are happy about something you can't control, think of all the blessings you already have. So here I am needing something to write about everyday for the rest of this month... and I have the challenge to think of something I'm grateful for everyday. Let's see if this works!

Now I can't promise you they won't always been very insightful and might be more like my sisters Facebook shout out to her microwave... but i'll do my best to make it at least a little interesting to read.

Wish me luck! x
