I love planning parties, well I like making things pretty and parties give you plenty of opportunities to make things pretty! A lovely friend is due to have her first baby in February so another friend and I threw her a baby shower last weekend.
I've seen a 'book theme' around online and the 'mama-to-be' loved the idea so that's what we went with! We had bookmarks as favours, encouraged childrens books as the gift to build a library for the baby, decorated onesies & bibs using appliqué and embroidery, and ate lots of yummy food.
