We started running again today. Ooof, it was hard. We haven't gone running since we were in the US. My body felt it. Oh and just so every one is clear, when I say running I mean how I run which is probably about everyone else's walking speed.
I did almost 4km so i'm pretty proud of myself. Really that's my main purpose. When you are sick (or your body doesn't work properly) it's hard to feel proud of it. Not too long ago I felt that way - I hated my body. I know when I run (or my version) I feel proud. This non-runner can run if I want to.
Is there anything you don't like to do but do it because it's good for you? My list is running, not drinking diet soda, taking vitamins and herbs from my naturopath. Blerg.
