We've been lucky enough that we were able to head up to Darwin this past weekend to visit with our beautiful family up there. It's not a short trip, almost a 5 hour flight and it's still in the same country! Yep, Australia is big.
I took a few snaps on our flight as I was amazed at the earth below.(I also forgot to bring anything to read and there was no in-flight entertainment so lucky the scenery was amazing as otherwise I would have gone a little stir-crazy!) I was reminded of the movie Forrest Gump when he talks about when he was out running and he didn't know where the heaven stopped and the earth began.
Seriously, isn't Forrest Gump the best movie?
I felt grateful for the amazing country we live in and for the opportunity to get out and see some of it.
