waffles, presents and 6 hours at the cinema

At the moment i'm sitting in the living room at my parents farm. i love coming here, it's our little piece of heaven. Though what i'm enjoying most is laughing at tom doing the star wars xbox kinect dance game - now that's entertaining!

we celebrated that husband of mines birthday the other day and I really just spent the day feeling so lucky he's mine. i really just am in awe sometimes of how caring he is, and how lucky i am to be the recipient of his love.

I always try hard to make a big fuss over his birthday as it's the day after christmas, so through the years it kind of just gets forgotten or is an after thought - well not in our house :)

He had a plate full of waffles for breakfast, several presents including a new guitar, a video game he was dying to get and some boxing gloves and pads for training.(i don't usually ever buy him video games so i think he was pretty stoked about that).

we love movies and that day both The Hobbit and Les Miserable came out at the cinema so we went off to see the Hobbit with some family in the morning, headed home for a couple of hours and then were back out again for dinner and then Les Mis! epic movie day for sure! ( ...in case you didn't know that's 2 x 3hr movies in one day ...sure butts all round)
We are having a {ice-cream}cake for him today because the kids (nieces and nephew) are here to enjoy it with us.

I think the best men are born on the 26th December.
happy birthday darling.
