essay of the ignorant

Do you ever have times when you feel like the whole world is screaming a message at you? I think I might be in the middle of one of those. Right when hopes for a baby have continued to fail and I just want to give up. That I need to open my eyes and see what's really around me. To not be ignorant. QUINOA FLAKE GRANOLA
w/ Cranberry, Peach & Almonds

So, Granola with yoghurt and fruit is my most favourite breakfast. Since being gluten free I've missed it (so much!). I searched yesterday and found a recipe for granola using quinoa flakes which look a little oat-ey (if you squint ). So today I thought i'd give it a whirl. I'm kind of super impressed with myself because it's awesome and I ate two bowls. ( Because it tasted so good, not because I was impressed with myself ). Ingredients: 1/2 cup olive oil 1/2 cup maple syrup 3 cups quinoa flakes 1/2 cup chopped almonds 1/2 cup chopped dried peaches 1/2 cup dried cranberries 1/3 cup sunflower seeds ( You could do most other dried fruit & nuts if you like some others better ). What to do: Whisk oil and maple syrup stir in quinoa flakes. Bake in 180C oven, on baking paper until golden brown. Make sure you stir several times so the sides don't burn. When cool, mix in fruit & nuts. It should keep 2 weeks in air...

How to a survive a disaster

...the disaster of running out of treats when all the stores are closed of course (or like me, you just don't want to leave the house) my solution = make cookies easy cookies at that. These two are my go to recipes. seeing as I lost a bet at work and had to bring a treat for my whole team, I decided to make them this week. I haven't been getting home before 8pm so I didn't want to spend more than 30 mins on them. Both recipes have 4 ingredients or less and are simply mix and cook... my favourite kind of baking. Both are gluten free (if you use gluten free flour - they come out the same as regular). Peanut Butter + Choc Chip Cookies Nutella Cookies Method (they are so easy, it's the same for both): Mix all ingredients together. Make into small balls and place on lined baking trays. flatten and bake in preheated 180c (360f) oven for 8-10minutes. They will harden out of the oven so take them out after no more than 10.
